Note: since version 10.33w, the wdisplay.ini file is now stored where you have weather display installedĪlso, important note, if your new PC has a different drive letter (e.g c: drive when it was d: drive before), then you will need to either edit the wdislay.ini settings file for all references to the wrong drive and the wdisplayftp.Left-click on the weather widget and a big panel pops-up. Note: Window XP & Windows 98 will be C:\windows - Windows 2000 will be C:\winnt. Move that file from the databackup to the C:\windows folder. On the new computer, look in C:\wdisplay\databackup for "wdisplay.ini" (it will say "configuration files"). Note: Vista and Windows 7 - If moving (or installing) Weather Display to a Vista or Windows 7 machine it is necessary to install to C:\wdisplay and not C:\Program Files\wdisplay to avoid User Access Control and Administrator Permissions issues.
